Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use Hearty. One account per person.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity on your account. Use accurate photos of yourself — impersonation is grounds for immediate removal.

3. Acceptable use

• No harassment, threats, hate speech, or unsolicited explicit content.
• No scams, solicitation, or commercial advertising.
• No scraping, automated access, or reverse engineering of the service.
• No sharing of another person's private information without consent.

4. Content you post

You keep ownership of your photos and messages. You grant us a limited licence to host, display and process that content in order to operate the service. We may remove content that breaches these terms or our community guidelines.

5. Subscriptions

Hearty Premium renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time in Settings → Subscription. Payments are handled by third-party processors; taxes may apply.

6. Safety

We provide verification and reporting tools, but we cannot guarantee the conduct of other members. Always take sensible precautions when meeting someone new — see the safety center.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, put other members at risk, or are required to be removed by law.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
